Building Relationships
Module objectives
During this course, participants will learn and practise, building rapport with different people using different styles. They will also get a better understanding of the motivations and preferences of others which in turn builds confidence when dealing with all different types of people. The module lasts two days.
Module content
The course will be a mixture of theoretical input and practical exercises. A high degree of participation is encouraged and there will be opportunities for individual and group feedback.
Negotiating, Influencing and Persuasion
Module objectives
Continuing from the Building Relationships module, the group will now have a firm foundation of basic skills that includes enhanced communication, rapport building and understanding of values and motivations. This module deepens and broadens these skills and adds the necessary knowledge to negotiate, influence and persuade others. More importantly find agreements that work for all, and last.
Module content
A highly practical with a mixture of activities based around trainer input exercises and supportive coaching. The feedback from Trainer, Coach and peers will create a supportive and positive environment to develop and practice Negotiating Influencing and Persuasion skills. This module lasts 3 days. Practical exercises will be tailored to meet the cultural background of group.
Getting the best from Teams and Groups
Module Objectives
The change from 1 to 1 relationships, to 1 to many (team or group) makes relationships more complex and yet when really successful a team can achieve remarkable things. This highly active day explores what makes the top teams tick, the developmental cycle of a group, the different personalities needed to be the balanced team and how to give high quality feedback to get things done.
Module approach:
This is about the human bit (risky) and how to tap into it to create and deliver
common goals of the group. Real, not pretend team-
Presentation Skills
Module Objectives
To enable participants to present ideas clearly, with impact and confidence. Develop the necessary skills and tools required to deliver, effective, compelling, and creative presentations that gets the message across. This module lasts two days
Module content
Presenting requires a range of skills, tools and techniques. Our training will enable
people to learn these, and expert coaching will enable them to apply them to great
effect. Areas covered could include:-

Written Skills
Module objective
The objective of this workshop is to improve the participants' skills in written communication of all types. It will give them checklists and examples and allow them to practise new techniques. The course lasts one day.
Module content
The course will include short exercises to give participants a chance to practise techniques as they learn them. A high degree of participation is encouraged and there will be opportunities for individual and group feedback. Participants will be asked to bring a sample of their work to the course. They will be given the time to improve on their work during the course. The agenda is:

Advocacy making your case
Module Objectives (This is a specially tailored module)
Whether you present your own case or present for another this module explains how to plan, develop and deliver the message. How to express views, preferences and decisions on an equal footing to any professional organisation in a way that makes things happen.
Module Approach
Based on interviews with Individuals within the group and research of the agencies involved a workshop is developed. The whole process is based on ensuring through knowledge of all concerned, the types of messages to be delivered and the most suitable styles of delivery for each different agency.
